Skip auto mounting of file system if errors occur

I added a line to /etc/fstab to auto mount my cdrom at boot to /cdrom because I didnt like it mounting it to different locations in /media. Unfortunately I found that it gave me a warning messaging at every boot stating that “the mount /sdrom did not mount. Press S to skip”

The solution is to add an option “nobootwait”

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices
# that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
#
# proc /proc proc nodev,noexec,nosuid 0 0
# / was on /dev/sda3 during installation
UUID=f12cb0ca-b8e8-4968-a64d-52bfcc2fd37c / ext4 errors=remount-ro 0 1
# swap was on /dev/sda5 during installation
UUID=4cc50c11-af2a-4352-8dfa-c967deed997a none swap sw 0 0
UUID=10909D8B909D77C4 /hdda1 ntfs rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=4096
/dev/sr1 /cdrom udf,cdfs,iso9660 user,auto,exec,utf8,nobootwait 0 0
[/code]
