I’ve always been a Debian person. Recently I got to have a few minutes at a Centos terminal and found that it was quite simple to use. The following are a few basic commands for package installation on centos:
Install packages with:
yum install packagename
You can skip confirmations with -y as on Debian
If you dont know the package name, search for it with:
yum search packagename
